Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 15, 2026
IMPORTANT: These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Snowball App ApS. By accessing or using the services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using our services, you signify that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
2. The Provider
The Service is provided by Snowball App ApS, a company registered in Denmark (CVR: 46547799, VAT DK46547799), with its registered address at Marskensgade 4, 1 tv, 2100 Copenhagen, Denmark ("Snowball," "we," "us," or "our"). You can contact us at hello@snowballapp.com.
3. Description of Service
Snowball App ApS provides a content creator research, outreach and data analytics platform ("the Service"). The Service includes a web application with tools to search, contact and analyse content creators. It also includes a key manager offered bundled with the main Snowball product or separately as a standalone product.
4. User Accounts and Registration
To access and use the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may and may not do with the Service. It applies to everyone who accesses the Service, and breaching it is a material breach of these Terms that may lead to suspension or termination under clause 8.
5.1 General conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized purpose, or in breach of any applicable law in your jurisdiction or that of anyone you contact through the Service.
- Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, or place an unreasonable load on it.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, to other users' accounts, or to any related systems or networks.
- Transmit any viruses, worms, or other malicious code, or circumvent any security or access controls.
5.2 Data and the creator database
- Do not use automated means (scrapers, bots, crawlers) to extract data from the Service except through functionality we expressly provide.
- Do not copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute creator data or other data from the Service, except as needed for your own internal business use.
- Use creator data and contact details only for legitimate professional business-to-business purposes and in compliance with applicable data-protection and marketing laws.
5.3 Outreach and anti-spam
When you use the Service's outreach tools, you are the sender and are responsible for your messages. You agree to:
- Send only relevant, professional outreach to business contacts, and not bulk unsolicited messaging ("spam").
- Comply with applicable laws, including the GDPR and the Danish Marketing Practices Act (Markedsføringsloven).
- Honour opt-out and unsubscribe requests promptly, and not impersonate any person or organisation.
5.4 Content restrictions
Do not use the Service to create, send, or store content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, hateful, or discriminatory; that is sexually explicit or that exploits or endangers minors; that promotes violence or illegal activity; or that contains personal or confidential information you are not authorised to use.
5.5 Referral codes
Do not abuse the referral code system in any way, including by creating fake accounts or self-referrals. We may provide and revoke referral codes at our discretion.
5.6 Reporting abuse
If you become aware of any use of the Service that breaches this AUP, please report it to hello@snowballapp.com.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights in the Service and its contents (including all text, graphics, software, and other materials) are owned by Snowball App ApS or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes only. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our express written consent.
7. Payment and Billing
Pricing: The Service is provided on a subscription basis. You agree to pay all applicable fees for your chosen subscription plan.
Taxes (VAT): Stated prices may be exclusive of VAT. Applicable VAT is added at checkout based on your location and status; business customers in the EU may be subject to the reverse-charge mechanism where a valid VAT number is provided.
Billing Cycle: All subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
Title Changes: Each title included in or added to your plan can be switched to a different game a limited number of times: once every three months on paid plans, and four times within twelve months of the first change on the free plan. Adding a title to an unused slot, and correcting a newly added title once within 48 hours, do not count as changes. Removing a title archives it together with its data and imported keys. These limits apply per title and are shown in the dashboard.
Referral Codes: We may at our discretion provide and revoke referral codes. A referral code confers a benefit (e.g. discount, free subscription time or other benefit) to a user. Abuse of the referral code system in any way will result in termination as set out in clause 8.
Payment: All payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor that handles transactions on our behalf.
Cancellation and Refunds: You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by mandatory law, fees already paid are non-refundable.
8. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and your access to the Service, for any reason including your breach of these Terms. Where reasonably possible we will give you notice; we may act without notice where required to protect the Service, other users, or to comply with law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
9. Consumers
The Service is intended for businesses. If you are a consumer in the EU, nothing in these Terms removes any rights you have under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence, including any statutory right of withdrawal. Where you are entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal for a digital service and you ask us to begin providing the Service during that period, you acknowledge that the right of withdrawal is lost once the Service has been fully performed.
10. Data Protection
Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Where we process personal data on your behalf as a processor, a Data Processing Agreement is available on request.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Snowball App ApS, its affiliates, or its licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Snowball App ApS and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Danish courts, with the City Court of Copenhagen (Københavns Byret) as the court of first instance. If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and mandatory consumer-protection rules of that country continue to apply.
15. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. It is your responsibility to check these Terms periodically for changes.
16. Complaint Handling Procedure
We want you to be happy with the Service. If something goes wrong, we aim to put it right quickly and fairly.
16.1 How to raise a complaint
Email hello@snowballapp.com with the subject line "Complaint". Please include your account email, a description of the issue, and the outcome you are looking for.
16.2 How we handle it
- Acknowledgement: We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days.
- Resolution: We aim to resolve complaints within 30 calendar days. If we need longer because the matter is complex, we will tell you why and give you a revised timeframe.
- Record: We keep a record of complaints so we can improve the Service.
16.3 If you are not satisfied

- Consumers elsewhere in the EU/EEA can find the relevant national dispute-resolution body via the European Commission's consumer-redress website. (The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025.)
