What Snowball is
Snowball is a creator research platform for video game studios, publishers and agencies. Search Twitch and YouTube streamers by the games they played in the last days and weeks, then contact them, hand out keys and track the results.
Twitch and YouTube Live are gathered continuously, so new streams surface within minutes, and search results and per-title insights are aggregated nightly from that data. Game keys are stored encrypted and handed out through tracked links, so you can see who claimed what. The details are in the FAQ.
What it does
Discover creators
- Search millions of Twitch and YouTube creators by the games they recently played, their activities or Steam tags.
- Twitch and YouTube Live are gathered continuously, so new streams surface within minutes; search results and per-title insights are aggregated nightly.
- Save searches, and see creator insights such as retention and genre benchmarks.

Contact them
- Creator email addresses, each one posted publicly by the creator somewhere on the web, with a monthly export allowance per plan.
- Build outreach lists by project or style, or import your own creator lists as Groups and track them with live data.
Hand out keys
- A key manager that stores game keys encrypted with AES-256 and hands them out through tracked claim links.
- Real-time claim tracking, so you know who redeemed what and when.
Title page insights
- Every title gets its own page of widgets, scoped to a 7, 30, 90 or 180-day window or a custom date range, arranged to taste.
- Headline KPIs: hours watched, views, unique creators and reach for the window, split by Twitch, YouTube Live and YouTube VOD, with 12-month trend sparklines and daily averages against the prior period.
- Creators table: every creator linked to the title, with tabs for top performers, new streamers whose first-ever stream of the title falls in the window, organic creators streaming without a key, and suggested creators who play similar games.
- Live now: who is streaming the title on Twitch or YouTube Live right now, refreshed every minute.
- Creator retention: the share of creators from the window who came back to stream the title again in the last 7 days.
- Creator size mix: creators grouped into nano, micro, mid and macro tiers by follower count, by headcount or by stream hours.
- Reach by language: the share of streaming hours by creator language community, with the top creators per slice.
- Compare titles: pick up to three games from the whole database and compare average viewers and stream hours head to head.
- Daily activity and content by platform: stream hours per day split by platform with VODs overlaid, and monthly content counts per platform.
- Steam followers: the daily follower curve with creator stream events overlaid, so you can see which streams moved it.
- Key funnel: how many keys for the title are still in inventory, exported to creators, and claimed.
- Data review: videos matched to the title with low confidence, and the platform IDs that connect it to Twitch, YouTube, Steam and IGDB, so you can correct the data.
Portfolio dashboard
- Portfolio KPIs across every title: hours watched, reach, streams and views with 12-month sparklines, and a title carousel to drill into any title.
- Activity feed: streams starting, VODs going live and keys being claimed across the portfolio, newest first.
- Rising creators: creators whose average viewers sit above the 90th percentile for their size tier, flagged early for outreach.
- Trending games: titles with the strongest streaming momentum across Twitch and YouTube, split into new launches and revivals.
Track and report
- Per-title performance over rolling 7, 30, 90 and 180-day windows plus an all-time view; higher tiers add custom date ranges.
- A customisable dashboard, and shareable public reports that need no login on the reader's side.
- Export any view to CSV, import lists from CSV or paste, and keep a Google Sheet permanently synced on Studio tier and up.
Integrations and team
- Discord and Slack alerts when a creator goes live or claims a key, reports on demand, and key import directly in a Discord channel.
- Seats for teammates; admins manage billing and integrations.

Where creator data comes from
Every creator profile in Snowball is built from public activity on Twitch and YouTube, and every email address in it was posted publicly by the creator somewhere on the web. Nothing is sourced from private or illegal channels. Creators who want to be reachable can make sure their email is public on their profile, or write to us and we add it.
